LBBC is seeking to hire a Director, Talent Management and Diversity who will play a critical role in ensuring we attract, retain, and support a diverse staff and that our culture fosters equity, inclusion, and belonging so that all our staff can thrive. You will partner closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to develop talent strategies that support our recently developed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategic plan.
 

LBBC is headquartered just outside Philadelphia in Bala Cynwyd, PA, and is a hybrid workplace. Candidates for this position must be based within reasonable distance to work in our office regularly.
 

Core Responsibilities

  • Manager Development & Training: Build our approach for ongoing manager development to help staff develop the skills to lead and manage their teams. Implement learning opportunities, including creating and facilitating in-house professional development and/or identifying and coordinating external learning opportunities.
  • Talent Management with a DEI Lens: Create a multi-year action plan for evolving our talent management practices with a DEI lens to center equity, and foster inclusion and belonging.
  • Staff Engagement & Culture Building: Develop and begin implementing a plan for continuously and consistently monitoring staff engagement, including how data will be shared and how it will inform action steps and strategies to improve a culture of inclusion and belonging.

  • Strategic thinking with an eye toward equity in all you do. Highly motivated by and deeply committed to our organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in change management strategies. A proven track record of success in implementing change across an organization.
  • Ability to build trust and buy-in quickly and to develop relationships across teams and with individuals. Able to work cross functionally and influence others.
  • Inclusive leader who thrives on collaboration. Interest in understanding the experiences and ideas of others to strengthen your work and the work of the broader team.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in the face of uncertainty. Reliance on a growth mindset and ability to manage dynamic and sometimes ambiguous work.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a DEI subject matter expert
  • At least five years of professional experience with three years of progressive HR and talent management experience; human resources certification desirable
  • Experience with small or startup organizations preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management
  • Willingness to leverage what you know about HR and talent management to think outside the box to create an amazing experience for our team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and a growth mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusting relationships to drive results
  • Ability to work collaboratively, across lines of difference and across different roles and teams in leadership, collaborator, and contributor capacities
  • Strong desire and ability to innovate and adopt new approaches to achieve results
  • Exceptionally strong project management and time management skills
  • Passion to work at an organization focused on community impact and women’s health
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required (Individuals may claim exemption for medical or religious reasons)
  • Authorization to work in the United States required

Salary Range and Benefits:  Salary range begins at $85,000 per year. LBBC offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
