Description

LBBC is hiring a Development Coordinator to support LBBC’s Development Department. The position will assist in logistics planning for events, provide general support for fundraising activities, and support brand partnerships. Serve as an LBBC representative, enhancing overall visibility and awareness of the mission and services, and identifying potential opportunities to foster philanthropic support.

 

LBBC is headquartered just outside Philadelphia in Bala Cynwyd, PA and is a hybrid workplace. This is a hybrid position which requires the Coordinator to work onsite as identified by workload. General working hours are 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time with the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event support:

  • Support planning, logistics and implementation of large-scale fundraising events.
  • Create and update event websites, create mailing lists, and maintain timelines in project management software system.
  • Support fundraising initiatives including:
    • Organizing and maintaining yearly DIY tracking database
    • Aiding in DIY event related questions including volunteer needs, outreach materials, and other resources. Attend LBBC events to represent the Development department.
    • Set up electronic fundraising sites via social media and LBBC’s software.
  • Interact with LBBC constituents at fundraising and educational programs

Administrative support:

  • Support Director of Special Events and Manger, Brand Partnerships with the following:
    • Updating and maintaining corporate donation database records, internal tracking documents, and sponsorship fulfillment documents
    • Updating meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, updating action items, and distributing materials to appropriate staff
    • Compiling information from relational database and coordinating meetings
  • Assist in maintenance of database records and annual report for email campaigns and corporate partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: Bachelors with 2 years’ experience in a development office of a nonprofit organization. Associate’s degree in related field with 4 years’ experience will be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience using relational databases; Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong computer application skills including Microsoft Office Suite and bulk email software packages
  • Demonstrate collaborative spirit by offering support for special projects as required.
